When Greek Advisor first visited the Mykonos Cavo Tagoo hotel it was in the middle of a total renovation and as most people appreciate, building sites are rarely inspiring, stepping over wet cement is not romantic and sweaty builders are rarely welcome in your hotel room. Some of the suites have a private infinity pool which while true, is stretching the definition of private a little, as the pool is a sectioned off part of a larger pool also used by your two neighboring rooms.

Those guests wishing for a little more privacy will want to select the either the Honeymoon suite or the Suites with private pool, sundeck, four-poster bed and Jacuzzi. The Suites with private pool are massive, some 105 square meters, and has two bedrooms complete with private shower and Jacuzzi each, plus one of the best views in the entire hotel. Perhaps the staff doesn’t smile enough, or the service is slow?
